The Community Assistance Network (CAN) emerged from
a Strategic Planning Session held at San Juan Oaks on
May 1, 2003. 

Community Assistance Network (CAN) represents education, business, government and non-profit entities.

The Leadership Team, a volunteer group, is an aggregate assemblage of San Benito County agency, organization and residential representatives that are devoted to policy and community change that will promote adherence to a collaborative approach to providing services for local youth and their families.  The Team has met monthly since May 2003, and has developed a strategic plan to guide their work.
